I installed Add-Art (along with ABP, which I already had), saw no art, and uninstalled it. Well, upon restarting FF, I had ads on every page. I had to uninstall and re-install ABP, along with my usual subscriptions, and nothing seems to be working. I have ads on every page, and ABP is doing nothing. Add-Art basically destroyed ABP. Please tell me how to fix this.
No art, now ads are everywhere

You caught me. We haven't rolled in the new AdBlockPlus to our bundled version of the extension because we haven't had to update since Vladimir at ABP has. I'm suprised installing the earlier version of ABP took out your subscriptions.
If what I'm guessing is happening, you should re-subscribe to your filter list and check out this troubleshooting section:

An update, thanks to your heads up I have the most current ABP bundled with our install. Thanks and let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same exact problem. I had ad block plus only(no add art) and it was blocking ads just fine. I installed add art and ads started showing up.
I've uninstalled add art and ad block plus, and then installed only ad block plus, and adds are still not getting blocked.

it's because your filter list got lost in the process somehow. This will help guide you through it:

I'm having the same problem as the original poster. I went to the trouble shooting page and tried setting the list again. According to the adblock, I am subscribed to Easylist, but I'm still getting ads. At this point, I'd like to just have adblock working again without having to reinstall firefox.

@robertw I understand the frustration. Your ABP set up isn't configured correctly. There is no need to reinstall ff. Go back through the troubleshooting instructions again. Is ABP enabled? Active? Are you subscribed to a filter list? It could be something deceptively simple.

I finally got my ad blocking working again. Here is how I did it.
1. Removed and re-added my filter list.
2. Then went into Tools->Add-ons
3. Click on Adblock Plus Options
4. Selected my filter subscription
5. From the menu, did Filters->Update all subscriptionsPosted 2 years ago #
