   Paddy Johnson has put together a great new show of contemporary work, nearly all made specifically for Add-Art (thus, you!) You can read about the show here: http://add-art.org/content/future-online-advertising

   One note, this show had two images that were NSFW, so they are not included in the general release. I'll be posting instructions on how to get the "unrated" version soon. Later, we'll have this more automated.

   If you don't like the art, there will be a new show on the 20th. Just disable Add-Art until then.

   Profanity not withstanding, I am also not pleased with the art. I understand that I can disable it and might go to the trouble, but I thought I would elaborate a bit on why the art fails.

   Are you trying to be ironic by replacing ads with other ads? Remember what is driving membership here: People that no only block ads for the very features which this exhibit contains (flashing gif's etc) but who also want to fill the white space with something appealing and/or thought provoking.

   I get the "inside baseball" nature of this dermatologist's ads for New Yorkers, and might even be able to enjoy the "Crazy Eddie" nature of the ad campaign, but all in all, this exhibit diminishes my experience online instead of enhancing it.

   Again, it's not the art, it's the context-clash.

   Oh, and by the way, remarking about my profanity when I'm complaining about an "art" set that contains an NSFW section loaded with bare tits seems more than a little stupid.

   This is just to say that the new show is really annoying. I love the plug-in and I've told all my friends about it. I'm going to turn it off and set a Remember the Milk reminder to turn it back on, but I really don't like the animation, and I'd like it if you don't do it again.

    i'm not a fan of the most recent installment, especially the doctor's note or whatever its supposed to be... and who is that ugly man with the rainbow?
    ah well... at least they're not real ads.
    I remembered today where i found out about this plug-in The Believer :)

    I'd have to agree with most everyone here - the new gallery was pretty bad. I think animated GIFs should be banned. Which brings me to a question: how do I uninstall add-art, but keep Adblock? I'd prefer just a blank square when there is "art" I don't like.

    I wish there had been a way I could have simply right-clicked on those animated gif images and instructed the add-art extension to not show me those shitty, seizure-inducing images and left the rest of the show in rotation.
