   I need to compare and contrast Matisse's Large Reclining Nude with the Venus of Urbino by Titan.

   Is anyone able to help me out a little...?

   If you haven't already try a google/wikipedia search for Matisse and then try one for "Titian"...not to be a jerk but if you need help writing your art history essay get some books, journals, and read em. I mean it took me all of 5 seconds to find this...

   well

   1. Large Reclining Nude is a naive painting from 1930's venus of urbino is realistic Renaissance painting... he he.
   2. in both paintings the women pained feel comfortable with their nude looking directly
   towards the viewer.
   3.proportions of the women in reclining nude are exaggerated while venus of urbinu is
   resembles the perfect women of her time.
