replace ads with art

   On my way home from school, I saw a bunch of those small road side signs that random people put up at every intersection and thought it would be cool to take the signs, put some art on them, then put them back in the same spots. Has anyone done this yet?

   I've heard of a augmented-reality system based on military MARS FMD.
   The purpose of MARS is to mark critical points during urban combat
   And the derivative system is built exactly to recognize and replace street ads with some custom notes / images
