I thought a bunch of ads were suddenly getting through, and I didn't even want to look at those pages anymore.

Then I found out that I just needed to restart FF so that stuff would be installed. (I hadn't restarted FF in quite a while.) That's when the art "magically" reappeared. What a relief! So I just wanted to say thanks for add-art.
