Try to disable real-time anti-virus checking programs during the download and installation of that extension.Some security programs can lock files and make it impossible for Firefox to finish the download properly or u can just download it to the desktop then drag it to the add-ons box, it will install. try this

The error message shows up right after the add-on has downloaded, during the installation stage. I confirmed this problems with Firefox browsers on two different laptops, running Windows XP and Windows 7 respectively. Both versions were running Firefox v3.6.3.

Is there a problem with the installer hash?
