but it's probably an issue with corrupt preferences for firefox in os x. I would do a thorough google search.

i don't know if it is because of add-art or adblock but i would like to remove them both anyway. please can you tell me how to do this because i can't find anything in your FAQs or forum to help me with this.

How to turn it on and off:
You'll want to use Adblock Plus for that. Here's some links:

If you're disabling it often, you might want to add the AdBlock Plus icon to your toolbar:

It replaces the ad with an image, but the link from the ad is still active. Is there a way to toggle the application on and off?
