Thank you, Akim.

(The piece was directly based on a real-life event? Good grief, there are some marvellously stupid people out there.)

The piece doesn't work without the text (except that it conveys a sense of the woman's discomfort). Perhaps that's a good thing, though, as it switches the message when one gets closer to the art.

Hi
Sorry there is trouble reading reading the text.
the upper right hand corner says:Don't describe or accuse other races of harassing you or holding you hostage unless they really are harassing you or holding you hostage....

the lower left corner reads: (Quickly walking past you while mumbling words you may or may not understand does not count as harassment or a hostage situation)

this is an image from a series that I've created called "The Illustrated Guide To Not Being So Fucking Racist" and they are all based on real events.

If you have any other questions or comments please don't be shy, any kind of feedback is always helpful.

Hello, all.

There's an intriguing piece (showing a woman on a subway, currently at addart/skin/6artbanner336x280.jpg in my image-store) whose text I just can't read. The words seem to be important to the meaning of the piece, so it's a tad frustrating not to be able to read them.

Is there a way for me to see the full-size image, please?

Sorry, Eyebeam was doing maintenance on the dev site today. It's back up. There are instructions there on getting in on the software development. One of our milestones is taking multiple feeds of art. If you have any questions, just let us know.

http://dev.eyebeam.org/projects/add-art/tickets?milestone=2

Happy to have you involved.

I'd like to see if i could help out with developing addart - principally with the idea of creating a version that supports loading either multiple curated streams -- as Steve has pointed out he's open to, in a thread here, AND/OR, a version that lets one replace the curated streams with flickr feeds, local photos, etc.

... but i can't get any dev info because dev.eyebeam is down?

... is it possible to just check out the source from svn/similar?
