Whenever I restore a Firefox session, add-art java-script notifications hijack the loading pages and slow the loads significantly. Painfully, even. And this happens even long after updates are fresh and I have restarted Firefox to download new images, which are visible even as the script finally loads to tell me there's fresh art. Can I turn off notifications?
