I reset to 1, then open new window, restart firefox, follow instructions, and always the settings are back the large numbers. I only get Chat roulette pics or blank spaces. Please help, I've been reading the forum for clues but can't fine any.

I'm releasing each update with the black show for, as I said before, boring technical reasons. Someday it might be smoother, but for now that's how it works. And we should be updating the extension infrequently as it's pretty stable now.

That is so weird. I had already done that a couple of days ago after getting the black boxes, it went back to the arabia show, I got the message today about new art, and then it went back to black boxes and different settings!

But I reset those settings to 1 again like you said, and now I'm seeing the new show for the first time.

Ok going into detail on how to force add-art to load the latest art for everyone else. Note, you don't need to do this. Add-Art updates automatically every two weeks. It's just for those that want to to get rid of the black boxes or for troubleshooting or impatient reasons.

Black boxes come with the update for boring technical reasons. here's what you need to do.

1. enter "about:config" without the quotes as your url (no http blah blah, just about:config) and hit enter

2. Next to filter, type add-art

3. Then:
Set currentImageSet=1
Set expiration=1
by double clicking on the settings

4. Open a new window. (Like File > New Window)

5. It will take a little time, but add-art will download the latest show in the background. You'll get the restart notice and then, after you restart, you should be set!

I'm marking this as resolved, but let me know if you have any trouble.
